GL SIG Charter
Following in the draft charter for the OAUG GL SIG:
- Share information and experiences on best practices and effective use of Records to Reconciliation (RTR) Process
- Promote Oracle’s RTR roadmap by supporting education and training programs and events associated with its use
- Provide feedback from the user community to Oracle Corporation
- Recommended enhancements and influence the future development direction of Oracle’s RTR applications
- Address the entire Records to Reconciliation business flow of an organization and share innovative solutions and implementations from fellow members worldwide.
The GL SIG Board Members will meet in end October / early November and adopt / ratify the SIG charter. If you are a SIG member and have any suggestions, please add your comments to this blog post. Thanks in advance!

Submit your Financials presentation proposal for Collaborate 2010 Las Vegas
There is a little over a week left before the deadline expires for submitting presentation proposals for Collaborate 2010 conference at Las Vegas. It is time to showcase your talents and present your successful projects that went live this past year. Please submit your presentation proposal for the event which also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG).
Collaborate 10 will be hosted at the world-famous Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during April, 2010. Submitting a presentation is easy, so please don't push it back till the last week or hours before the deadline of October 20, 2009. The presentation title needs only 100 characters (approximately 10-12 words). The abstract can be 520 characters long (approximately 60-100 words). Enter at least 3 presentation objective (one sentence each). Select rest of the fields from drop down list of values and submit!
If you are looking for a presentation topic, please visit the presentation wish list page for ideas: Look for the wish list under the track of your choice, for example, 'Financials' and you get a fair idea of the topics attendees are eager to hear. If you want to discuss any idea before you submit, please start an online discussion here or send an e-mail to me and I can brainstorm with you. Over the years, I have been fortunate to present over forty sessions at Oracle and OAUG conferences around the world and I can share my experiences with you.
